Below are instructions for setting up an iPhone with the Counterpath Bria softphone.
1. When you launch the app for the first time you will be presented with a menu of the type of system you wish to connect to. Select from “SIP VoIP (SIP) – Calling” from User Defined Generic Accounts.
2. In the next screen you will enter the credentials for each account.
Account: Enter the extension number
Display as: Enter a name for the account
User Name: Enter the extension number
Password:
Enter the password given for your extension
Domain: 4614.17069.service
Voice Mail Number: 5001
3. Click on Account Advanced
Out. Proxy: sip.outboundproxy.com
4. Press the back button at the top
Move the Enabled switch to on.
The phone will show Unregister at the top if it registers to the server correctly.
5. Press the Phone button on the lower left portion of the screen.
Your phone should be ready to make and receive calls.
